Sense of TASTE
Food is such an important part of feeling at home. Here you’ll find a few simple recipes I love, sources that inspire me, and small ways to make everyday meals feel more intentional.
Nourish & Thrive
I do not particularly enjoy cooking, and lucky for me, my husband does—and he is really, really good at it. When I do provide an offering, it is usually something very simple. Here are a few of my go-to recipes:
The Very Best Granola is a staple in our home. I make it with coconut oil and flakes, plus pepitas and sunflower kernels.
Almond-Crusted Chicken with Arugula Salad was a recent success
Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup in sparkling water is a little treat.

Kitchen Design
I love kitchens that feel collected over time: a little history, a little utility, and a few modern elements mixed in. These are some of my favorite sources for both products and inspiration:
deVOL Kitchens has that balance down perfectly. I have used their Aged Brass Ionian Tap in a guest-suite kitchen and The Heirloom Task Light with Creamware Shade in a farmhouse renovation. Both were great.
Plain English creates beautiful, timeless kitchens that never feel overly precious.
Waterworks makes gorgeous, timeless kitchen faucets that I use often in my projects.

Intentional Living
We have been slowly replacing our everyday dishware with handmade pieces—nothing matches exactly, but somehow it all goes together. It has made every meal feel a little more special. My husband’s cooking deserves better than our old C&B dishes, honestly.
A few current favorites: BDDW Coffee Mug, Hasami Porcelain Straight Bowl, and plates by Estudio Vernis.
